Sardar Joginder Singh, a great visionary, established Gurpreet Group of Industries in the year 1968. He founded a partnership firm in the name of S. Sohan Singh Joginder Singh & Co. There are four mines in this group namely Kalora Soapstone & Dolomite mine, Semal Soapstone & Dolomite Mine, Devla-I Soapstone Mine and Devla-II Soapstone Mine in Pratapgarh district.

The Gurpreet group belongs to motivated entrepreneurs who believe in quality, excellence and enjoys a high reputation in the business and social circles of Rajasthan. With a modest start of single soapstone mine, the group has grown in vast magnitude in the mining & minerals sector with a huge turn over. It started mining SOAPSTONE, DOLOMITE and CALCITE minerals from its Kaloda and Semal mines situated in the district of Udaipur (Rajasthan).
